My Path

Greg Benchwick got his start at The Bolivian Times, where he had the amazing opportunity of reporting on human rights abuses, the drug trade and politics. From there, he launched his career as a journalist and travel writer, contributing to some of the largest publications in the world. He traveled the world from Bolivia to Alaska to Malaysia writing about culture and adventure and the people he met along the way. In 2010, Greg shifted his career and began his work as a partnership and communications manager for the United Nations. He has worked across several continents as an international civil servant highlighting the voices and stories of the world's most vulnerable children. His campaigns have played an active role in addressing challenges including war, climate change, displacement and poverty. Greg still dreams of building a better world for generations to come.
